WELCOME

I am Dr. Mikhila Wildey, and I am a clinical psychologist and couples therapist in Grand Rapids, Michigan who is committed to helping couples build long-lasting and resilient relationships. I work with all types of relationships (e.g., dating, marital, long-term), and the couples I work with come from diverse backgrounds with regards to age, race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation, and they present with a wide range of issues. I use evidence-based approaches to couples therapy, and I tailor my treatment approach to each couple’s own goals and needs for treatment. Because I am also a professor in the psychology department at Grand Valley State University, I have a limited practice, only working with four to five couples each week. I encourage you to read through my website to learn more about me, my services, and what an investment in your relationship would look like. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all.

Although many couples choose to seek counseling when there is a problem, I advocate the use of couples therapy as a preventative approach to build resiliency, strength, and commitment for lifelong success.
